3D Printing
Sword in a Rock.
I decided to create a sword in rock to test my 3D printers limits because the printer is one of the inexpensive ones The sword is extremely thin and the rocks are thick that should help with both extremes. The sword should stick to the thin hole created in the rocks. The results were that the holes where to thin for the printer and the sword does not fit in all the way like in Maya. I have changed the printer bed to a glass one and apply glue to make sure it sticks. The prints were way more successful that way.Game version(Painted for fun) and 3D print version

The ring. 1st ring attempt
I am attempting to design and print my own ring in order to send it to a friend, who will then cast it in silver. My first attempt and I consider this to be just as important as the future final result. The ring shape is not too complicated, what gets complicated was the subtracted boolean in the center of the ring. Though out the process I have determine the boundaries of my 3D printer and places them inside Maya. Along with that, my units are now in sync in Maya and Criality Slicer. The logo was way to detail and small for my printer, but it is not a failure because this has allowed me to have a faster iteration speed.Printer boundary limits and 3D print version

The ring. 2nd ring attempt
Alot of the steps are similar to the first ring print, but this time I made the ring more like a cylinder shape rather than and actual circle. The boolean is also much bigger and I avoided making tiny turns with the polygons. Overall this rind looks and feels more like a ring. Lastly, I change the filament to black because yellow just does not look as good.Shape like a Ring!

Bringing a 2D image to life
This is an earring my sister requested. She wanted how it would look on her before buying the original design. Although I did not design the earring, I 3D modeled it and printed it so that my sister could see if it looked to big or small on her. Tracing someones design in Maya definitely helped me come up with solutions for bends and supports for the print.Extruding out of a plane.
