What I do at Hillsides?
February 2023-Now. First of all, alot of the work I do with the kids is protected by HIPAA regulations. What I can say is that I work with at risk and special needs kids. I implemented the residential schedule while helping with their mental and emotional needs. I do art, library reading, recreational activities, and education activities. I focus on helping the kids use their coping skills when they are emotionally dysregulated. Often they have some sort of trauma that pops up during activities. At the end of the day I write logs on each kid so that therapist can have a reference point on how to help them.Hillsides' statment.

The Melanin Mamis
January 2022 – January 2023. The Melanin Mamis is a zenfull job in which I help create the books. The job has helped me understand the Instagram, Twitter and Facebook world, and how it works as a vendor rather than a consumer. It is a small team so I quality check my own cuts or any of my tasks I get so that the customer does not receive a bad product. The image displayed is a first edition of the book. The theme is of the book is financial literacy, by helping people organize their spending based on priorities. This is a job I am enjoying but, I continue with my Maya, C#, and Unity3D studies so that oneday I can join the video game industry.Rose Gold Book
Mario Kart Ride
June 2018 – August 2020. Here is a video of the Mario Kart ride at Nintendo World I was a part of through The Third Floor. This was a project I was in for more than two years and a half. My roles for this project consisted of fixing any animations, rigs, exporting, fx creation, fx optimization, testing the shots in Unity's timeline. For instance, each character, like Toad, has several loopable animations and each kart also has several loopable animations. It was my job to make sure both animations had the same duration, worked properly and would sync up with each other. Some of the fx I worked on you will see in the video. Like, the bubbles, explosions, Kemek, and many more. I enjoyed my time and worked with an amazing team.AR in Unity
Bowser JR
Similar to the Mario Kart Ride, this project involved me working on Bowser Jr's shader though Amplify Shader. The shader was used on every asset, It is pretty much just a slider that removes all lighting and textures. I worked on the Bobomb blinking shader and mushroom glow. This project was a small team, my tasks were to integrate asset, fix animations, make animations and fix anything that needed fixing. The programming was done by a different vendor. It was a pleasure working with all the animators, and seeing everything come to life.Fun with shader transitions.
3Ds Boo and other Media
This was a finals media project that was done all in house at The Third Floor. My tasks involved me lighting, post processing, shader adjustments, asset integration, setting up the shots for animators, QA and fixing anything that did not pass. For instance, I had to re-rig Boo several times, and created dummy rigs for animators that I would then replace with the final model. This project had a very small team with animators being shuffled in and out. I help setup a system where that would not slow down the delivery.Placeholders are important.
Toadstoof Cafe
This project was all done in house. It was Final Renders for 8, 20minite loops of Toads living their life. My tasks involve me lighting, shader work, fx, asset integration, and AI baking into Unity's timeline. The lead Technical Artist did the C# coding that involved changing Unity's timeline code. I used C# to create triggers and animation blinks. The animator created several loops and we took those into animation controllers to blend all those animations together.NavMesh + Baking Animations
Vrenetic Prototyping
July 2017 – June 2018. Vrenetic was were it all began for me. I was the only Unity guy in the LA office. This job helped me break away from the college experience, that answers would be given to me. For every task or problem, I had to find a solution myself by researching. The job involved creating VR prototypes for the Interface and animations that are trigger by gaze. C#(Beginner level) and UI integration was most of the role. I also handles the website front end creation and publishing using GitHub. I enjoyed this work environment the most because it was a Start-Up. Seeing the CEO build this company from the ground up was amazing. I still talk and hang out with my old co workers. A lot has change, but one of the websites I made is still up(almost 5 years later) and there is an App now.It lives on.
This is the website I helped create many years ago. It is an aesthetically simple landing page;

Here is the app I made prototypes in Unity3D for, they released in IOS as Vresh, and continue to work on the product.

Creating Small Games
September 2016 – July 2017. Creating Small Games. The job involved creating or recreating games like Crossy Road. I taught robotics using the Lego EV3, programming plus design in software like Scratch (MIT's ), and Unity3D for VR and mobile. Planning ahead , changing code on the fly and creating code that is simple to understand is part of the job. Student range from 7years old through high school. Keeping students safe and being aware while debugging students code was a must. Down below is an example of one of the EV3 Robots.Digital Dragon

RPG Game 2016 (Unfinished)
This is an RPG game I was working on in order to learn the ins and out of Unity back in 2015-2016. It is a low poly game meant for the older phones. I used C# to get the movement, modeled, rigged and animated the character and mobs. I created the sprites in Photoshop and are meant to be used for mobile games. The sprites are for an RPG inventory. The game is converted to using WebGL for the demonstration purposes.3D Modeled a low poly character

Jumping Game 2016
This is an Jumping game I was working on for a class with a group of 3. Since I had the most experience with Unity, my part was to model the main characters, rig, animate them. I did the coding because it was an art class and no one else knew how. The game is converted to using WebGL for the demonstration purposes. I put it in the google play for testing,3D Modeled a low poly character

Building Blocks
I begain looking into Unity in community college. The first thing I made was in Unity 4, the classic space shooter. Every Level gets harder and there is different powerups and debuffs. For example, the blue circle slows you down while you are inside it. I used plugins like NGUI because Unity3D had a heavy UI system back in the day.Checkout the Game
